looks like it...

Seems the Red ones need the change from knot to loop, and the grey ones just need the extension to stay the same length...

Personally, I think any kite should be able to go on any bar, and the more fiddly the fix the more chance there is to just say fuck it and jury rig it...

Such is the motivation of the stoke, got a go got a go got a go NOW etc.

Yup we all have shit for brains when it comes to getting out there in a hurry

If you can't work out how to connect the lines correctly and then check them before you launch I don't want to be on the water with you if you make it out there.

I'd try and push for a standardised safety release first, North just need to let the other brands copy theirs and we'll all be fine.

so yeah...

anytime you are faced with a kook proof situation, you know you've one foot in the cowpie...

Those who stand on the sand with both feet, and have made up thier own lines...

Might try, marking the fronts and putting them on straight away---then unwrap the bar and lay it down, face down like the kite,
step on it and pick up the steering lines---

(lay the bar down where you'll stand to launch)

Clear them by pulling them through the front lines---then just hook them up...

Can you install a back line on the front this way??? no

Can you have a back line through the front two???

no...

so there ya go
fuck a bunch of kook type well intentioned help...

Learn to do it yourself, that way you know

Switch is a "B" set up. Knots on the front lines and loops on the back lines from the bar.

the thing about kook proof connections and kooks in general is, although they are are not able to make connections easily or well and are not all that well connected themselves or to themselves, they are crazy creative and no matter how "kook proof" you may try and make something they will find a way to f*ck it up, ALWAYS, so let them, it improves the gene pool, makes more room on the water and makes the beaches safer eventually :o

Not a joke? The RRD kite has loops/knots where my bar has knots/loops. Those pigtails will switch the kite to work with my bar.

I know how to set up my lines,im not a kook, just really cheap and dont want to spend $300 on a bar.

As long as the line lengths stay the same I am assuming it will be good to go.
