I just don't understand some of you guys  If you don't want to read about EPIC kites please don't click on the thread that says "E P I C" which means epickites. What's wrong with some of you kiters!!!! Why do you guys waist your time and energy by clicking on the EPIC thread since you don't like it, I just don't get it!!! A smart individual won't even bother clicking on the thread if he is not interested in. So I am sure you guys are smart people or should I say smart kiters.
So two things are happening here: 1. Maybe you can't handle seeing EPIC kites doing so well and that is the reason why you have to click on it and post all this negativity because you are not happy with what you are riding. Or 2. You are a team rider from another kite company and part of the deal is to come on the EPIC thread and start bad mouthing me and my kite company.
That is the only 2 reasons some one will do something childish like that. So please do us all a favor and stop clicking on this thread if you don't like it and go to the most sexy man thread. Who knows you might learn few things.
Now if you have something intellectual to say about the EPIC product that you tried or purchased or want to try or even new ideas about future concept then please do so. But bad mouthing the way you guys are doing shows the true nature of who you are and personally I would not want to be associate with any of you. Its just bad Karma.
So once again sorry for spending the time writing this but I hope you understand that forums are here to help people about any product they desire looking into or write about.

P.S. Any way on another note, this is an email I just got yesterday from a kiter.

@ Oldnbroken & Dimitri

I was really hoping you guys were just going to ignore these few guys. They were rarely seen in here on the epic thread while the BS thing was going on but now that its locked, all of a sudden they re-appear. When you guys answer them it gives them the attention that they can not live without. Please, can all of us that want to read about and be part of epic kites just ignore these few people from now on?! Seriously, just completely ignore them. DO NOT REPLY!

Oldnbroken, I know it will be very difficult but please try your best....

Instead of kicking any person or brand off the forum, I would rather see every brand on here. Epic is only getting the attention because no other brand is subjecting themselves to the zombies and trolls that will show up anytime a topic shows up here. I am sure by now there are no bad kites out there, and I, for one, am here to read about all of them. I say let the companies talk about what they have done, and let their customers and critics make their points. Of course, considering Taut's "How do you want to be treated" post will make things more pleasant. Now talk amongst yourselves...Topic....Kites and gear!

Yo Dimitri,

I met you on Union Island this winter. Cool spot, eh?!

So when's that next video of yours coming out?! I scrolled thru the last 5 pages of posts and didn't see it. Don't tell me you're slacking off ............I'm sure it'll be epic.

Cheers,

Gavin

P.S. The guys spray painting people's property are probably the same guys ripping you/ Epic. Try not to let them wind you up..... after all, the thread does say Epic kites....... soo naturally it's about Epic. Where's the problem?!

Great kite. What sizes is it in?
Hey Jessica. I know you're involved with Epic and since you are also a skilled kiter what can you tell me about this great kite from the picture (apart from the fact that it's red). What sets it apart from the other kites on the market and what should I expect from the changes that have been made?

I have to be honest it looks like almost every other kite photographed from that angle but I look forward to you opinion.

I don't have this particular "red" kite but I did just get all the new Renegades, Judges & Junior Pro kite. I flying the Screamer all last year so riding the Renegades is quite a bit different. The interesting thing is each kite size has unique design features and flies totally different. I love the 7m Renegade for practising freestyle. It's a lot more stable then the Screamer and easier to unhook in higher gusty winds. The 9m I find is a ferrari and I only like it for speed. It pulls like a truck and has a tonne of power so I find is hard to unhook. It would be a great kite for a bigger guy to be able to ride a smaller kite in lower wind. For me the 9m Screamer is better for tricks and the Screamer gets really good hang time. The 13m loops really easy for a bigger kite but it is a bit heavy for me because i'm a small girl... I find I have to ride with my hand near the end of the bar but I do like it because I can use it in 8 - 10 knots of wind! The best part of the Epic kites in my opinion is how adjustable the bar is. It's so easy to tweak your kite and set it perfect to your size & wind conditions. You can disconnect the lines right at the bar which is great if you cross your lines & need to fix quickly. There is also 3 adjustment knots on the centre lines at the bar where you can change for additional depower. Dimitri was smart and designed the bar to adjust and make it comfortable for a short or tall person, best thing in the world! The last thing I like compared to other brands is the bar pressure is light enough my arms don't get sore but I can still feel the kite. I hope this helps :)
