Hi! I'm planning a trip with Flydubai and found this on their website: "Each piece of baggage has to weigh 32 kg or less and be smaller than 75 cm x 55 cm x 35 cm". So if I'll take my 140 cm boardbag with me I'll exceed their baggage allowance almost twice.
The question is, did anyone try do fly Flydubai with kite stuff, how do they actually categorize kiteboards? Any excess baggage fees for that stuff?
Thanks in advance

They must have info on their website. Most airway companies consider sport bags as regular baggage and limit you until their limited weight.

Yes, usually it's about 120-130 cm length for normal bag. But Flydubai rules say that 75 cm is maximum.

What is their policy for sport bags?
Sometime they include golf bags in their limits...then make sure it says golf on it

Hi! maybe somebody has update on Flydubai flights with kite equipment?... Policy seems to be unchanged since last topic posts, with strict small dimensions and no sport baggage exclusions in the rules...

Are you booking directly with FlyDubai or through Emirates? If through Emirates there should be no problem. Directly I don´t know.
Terrible airline. No legroom. Crap terminal in Dubai. Just a mess and I´m not surprised information is lacking on their homepage.
