Yeh been reading a while. The zephyr is well known for its large range. The 2013 has kept its range and increased its low end with the edge DNA. At your weight a zephyr then a 10,11 air 12 will just do fine.

Since the question is "kite with big wind range" there is no question in my mind.
#1 - 21m Speed3 (Cable Park) never get skunked
#2 - 19m Core or 18m Cab Velocity
#3 - No More Option

Ozone Zephyr
Just to reiterate that #3 above is incorrect.
There are several tube kites that have range.

Here in central Texas the Zephyr is used by several guys ranging in weight from 140 - 220lbs.
The Z always seems to pull through for us here in these gusty shifty winds. I used to have an Infinity V1 but the top end always limited my use on that one. The Z can easily work through gusts from the mid to upper 20s here by most people.
This day we were out in winds from 15 - 25+.
