i have real trouble with these, landed a few but sketchy as pretty much with body in water as i landed. Ones I did land/get close to i concentrate on doing it fast, back knee bent up, and making sure board angled all the way through so wind is sticking board to feet.. I also tend to angle board upwind before i start spinning opposite way - kin dof like winding up a 313 or blind judge. - and not keeping kite too high - just right angle so board does not fall off feet.
i keen on any tips cos i like having consistent tricks in the bag but find this one real hard, last few sessions trying them were useless!
I'Ve landed a few..but nothing consistent...there are two main ways to do it...do a low by popping and as you initiate the rotation try to push with your backfoot. It sounds weird..but that is how it feels to me. The second disgorge with a lot more speed..you'll get higher but it will be easier to keep the board until the end where it pretty much always falls for me.
In both cases it is easier in higher winds...and stretch your anklesna bit so the bottom of the board points into the wind.
look at he initiates the rotation, he push with the back foot...keeping the board into the wind. If you do it with forward speed it creates more tension.
Reo does this one so stylish. Almost horizontally.
