A Vegas in 16, which was good. And I think Vegas 18 I think...
Toby, love you brutha but your wrong sir. I own a brand new 2006 20m never used still in bag to this day. This was the last of the Rhino 20m ever made. The 18m and 20m are different design and shape than the rest of the Rhino sizes for that year. The 2006 18m and 20m were a much more higher aspect shape than the 16m and smaller sizes. 16m and smaller were a little less high aspect and set further back in the window. I think Ken Winner kept the 18m and 20m higher aspect to force them further forward in the window for light wind/ up wind ability.

It sat so long that one of the strut bladders nipple has started to leak. Td to pump it up one day for nostalgic reasons and it was leaking out the center strut nipple. So, it continues to set in my garage in showroom condition. Who is interested in this super power pig?
I'll certainly sell the classic to someone who wants it. I ride another brand now and cannot ride it.

Wow, cannot remember that one.
16 I remember. That time I switched to Vegas 2006 12 and 16, and loved them big time!

Thx for the info!

I hear ya dyylan and that is the way all have headed due to obvious design improvements in overall kite designs in general. One must understand that, for the day, these older kites had and still have BIG amazing low end power that's still efficient to this day. Just not as much depower by a long margin. Be ready to scoot on in for that kite change when the wind finally comes up or else.

I got to demo this kite two times before buying a new one and they had big, big power and went up wind real well for a C shape kite. The Older Rhino2 which were many on the old Jetty Island local scene in say 2004. They had real big leading edges with big fat struts. Giant power but just not as refined as the 2006. The R620, not only being the last year for the power pig, it had received updated smaller more arrow dynamic strut shapes compared to the old fat ones on the R2. It also had batons in the canopy which just made this thing even more rigid and rock solid. Tons of power and turned much faster than the old R2. I figured one day, I'd spray paint it camo color and rock it with big Transcend logo. :cool2:

Ok, maybe a little less.. like 12-18/9..? The thing is the sweetspot for me with rhino 20 is betveen
14-17 knots.. but often the windgusts drop or increase.. It's no problem holding it up to 20 knts. But then you're powered! ;) We don't get that strong winds where I live, I ride the 20m 9/10 days, if I had a 10 mtr kite I would never be able to ride :(. My smallest Kite is a 13m combat. I'm 80 kgs (175 lbs?) riding cab custom without fins.
