Hi Jessica,
The Screamer does a lot of things really well, but back stall is one of the things it fights if riding towards it quickly. Some kites just don't drift as well as others and if you have to trim it so much to take away any back stall then you'll be compromising something else. In my opinion, the Renegade would be much better for unhooking with needing no on the fly adjusting of the trim strap. With the Renegade, you should be able to do hooked in tricks, unhook and not have to adjust the trim. It will drift a lot better than the Screamer.
