Is there much difference between the years? I mean i have a 2009 10m RPM and am pretty much on the brink of buying a 2011 12m RPM until i stumbled across these threads....thanks.

Don't do it. SS corrected the sizing issue on the 12m this year. If you're going to get a 12m, go with the 2013 for sure.

Here are some pics of the 2013 RPM 12m and 10m. It would appear to me they have adjusted the size. After having used both the 2013 12m and 10m, there is noticeable difference in turning speed with the 12m being slower than the 10.

So i want to buy a 2nd hand 12m 2013 RPM, my issue is; is there any easy way to make sure its a 2013 model and not a 2012?

Yes,on the 2013 version, RPM is written diagonally across the cannopy... 2012 it was written just above the black dacron area
