Yeah man, the kite totally matters and can improve riding tremendously!! I'm stoked about his new move, that's awesome to hear! I definitely encourage you to try the Neo out in the waves, but I'm warning you, you will want to buy it after you try the kite haha!tautologies wrote:Don't you love it when you find "your" kite? It is awesome!!!
I've been arguing this with one of my buddies for years...his attitude was that you can get used to any kite...my argument is that you want to make it easy on yourself by getting the kite that fits your riding style, or whatever you like to ride. The kite matters.
He FINALLY yielded...when upon getting a new kite landed a trick for the first time...in the first session.
Once the wind comes back I am due to check out the Neo.
Thank you, unfortunately I didn't have my favorite wave kite (Neo) for that day in the waves, had to make due with the Rebel that is also great in the surf, just a different style (not as much drift).tony montana wrote:Dan great wave riding video on you face book, whats the low end like on Neo,Tony
