Shipping issue

Postby Lubo » Wed Jun 05, 2013 1:18 am

Hi, i live in US. A friend of mine recently purchased a board from Germany - ebay.de 132 cm Carved. Can anyone advise me how to ship it to the states please. Ups and fedex are ridiculously expensive (around $600) and DHL does not ship over 120 cm.

Regular post office does fine. Usually about 2 weeks to Japan from the EU, cost about the same as USPS.

In my experience (but thats not with kite related equipment) its for some weird reason way cheaper to ship from Asia to Europe instead the other way around... But the local post office should be able to help.

Price is similar but it's better value using EMS from here... and faster. They guarantee no more than 2 weeks but I've sent stuff on a Monday PM here and it's arrived Wednesday evening in the US :o Free insurance and tracking too. Makes FedExcrement look like a bunch of brain-damaged sloths...
