Maui end of May

Postby WindS4 » Thu Jun 06, 2013 10:48 pm

So I went to Maui - Rode a 14M the day we landed, then the wind shut off for a few days. However I was speaking to these guys from Grand Cayman, who were riding Ozone 17's in superlight breeze with Race Boards. The next day they were out - we were in a chopper, and I got these Pics. I didnt catch your names, but I can email you them high res if you want. Pilot said it was 8knots true. Impressive. Anyway- when it came on end of the week, I rode an 8, but could have ridden a 6! Lots of fun. Mahalo

Thx, - been riding Naish kites forever, but have been to the Ozone website a few times after seeing these guys lit up in 8 knots. So many surf boards and race boards out there, very cool. Hope the Kite beach/ swimmer issue works out well for you guys. What a great place.

If you can check out the Flydoor 160L or 170XL. These are amazing in light wind and for general cruising. I am often the only one out in light wind10-12kn and 12M switchblade, 8-10kn on the 170 and 14M switchblade.
