Well i just saw the 2014 Vegas... personally i think its horrible. It looks like a Gaastra Sailboat sail or something like that. Maybe better in other colours then i saw.

In the end liking graphics is a personal taste. I just pumped the Surf LTD and its definitly not a sigma shape. It sure is a weird kiteshape to look at.

I agree there is no account for taste, but some kites are just 'air pollution' as Vegas.
Maybe I sting into a wasp nest here, but since this is a public R&R for Epic, here are my $.02:

The LE of the kite is like the sigma shape for Naish. By retarding the edge I get more overfly for the kiter. So IMHO it's the same concept just different execution (and maybe a patent issue). I can see that the pointed edges will increase the turning speed of the kite, it doesn't help water relaunch, though. So I am not quite sure, where the big wow effect comes from, as a wave kite. Surprise me, please.

If your design is a selling point, I am definitely NOT your target group. It's ugly, like the guy in speedos and his wacky hat trying to hold up that thing. :D

Just my honest $.02 here.
peace

The Dr Makani is Makina good observation here
They are both...kite+speedo... not EZ on the eyes at all
My wife said it reminds her of that first kite way in the beginning of kiting
She was talking about the shape of the kite flown on a reel bar with skis

Another wacky hat has appeared on KF...
...that one is on Olnbk's head in his Beverly Hillbillies Jed Clampett backside pose

:D

Ok, my turn. Firstly i really like the shape. Secondly i love the colours. Thirdly we all know Supa and others on this forum just like to talk every thing down.
We have a saying in the UK, Sparrows picking on a Bugie. If your feathers are not as bright as others do put them down, try hard to improve yours.
Mr D i really dont understand people being negative about some one trying to improve something pass or fail at least you are trying to keep things fresh!

SupaEZ - I don't sleep much...massive insomnia from ADD medication.
Tried (and failed) a couple times to send you a Youtube link of your Core Kites Sensor Chicken Loop (over complicated piece of shite) failing miserably.
What I don't do... is obsess over another mans picture.

Oldnbroken wrote:Supa....sent you a Youtube video of a Core chicken loop that would not open at all, locked up completely.
Could not get the link attached successfully.
But you would have hated that video showing your Core product in very poor light.
I don't sleep much, have massive insomnia that comes with ADD meds.
But I do not look at pictures of men and talk about their butts!..that's for sure.
I will change my picture so you can calm down.
Dimitri told me you seemed a little fruity when he met you, guess it's true

Hi OnB,

Sorry, I do not want to interrupt your private conversation with Supa.

Core realized that there was a design flaw or production failure (I'm not sure what it was) with one of their QRs a while back. They did a recall of all those QRs and replaced them with working ones. That is customer service!

Where is my *working* replacement (and yes I asked Epic several times and never received them)?

There is another accident to be happen, just like the accident I had because of that none-working Epic QR (but luckily I'm still alive). Trust me- I will travel to the US and will make my statement in court with all evidences and that I (and others) reported that there are problems with the release mechanism of that QR which Epic sells since 3 years (and still does).
The Epic owner obviously doesn't know in what hot seat he is sitting. And just putting a warning sticker on a product that you use the gear on your own risk is not valid in court in such a case. Ask someone within the legal system.

Cheers
Caesar

Team Rider Caesar- The Youtube video is titled Core Sensor Bar Control System 2.0 2013.
It was posted on March 27, 2013, just two and half months ago.
The twist mechanism does not move...not at all.
I sent the message/link privately to communicate directly, unlike what you are doing.

Watched your little video.
Your chicken loop opened with two fingers on one hand and with your other arm fully extended on the other side of your balcony railing, and pulling at the end of a piece of twine.
I've opened my Blade and my Epic chicken loops easily every time I've needed to, the problem is you, not the loop, since I can see in your video, it opens fine.
I open and close my chicken loop twenty seconds before every session launch, so I know they all (five brands) work, all the time.
I've talked to somebody who spent some time with you... and things are much clearer now.
Pretty obvious you locked up in your panic, but you don't want to hear that.
Good luck in your legal endeavor.

I have to be done with you and Alexey, my stoke is being affected by your negativity..
and Supa's forever crazy relentless emoticon commentary.
Time for a little vacation from you whiners and nut cases.
