I wrote this website when I was teaching myself web development. Essentially, it searches through the classifieds sections of major kite forums for kites and then lists them in an organized directory. I know that a lot of people constantly check kite forums for good used kite deals and this tool makes it easier.
There's some bugs and it only updates once a day, but otherwise it works pretty well. If anyone is interested check it out...
kitehound.com and dont worry its totally free and I plan on keeping it that way.
Thanks!

Very nice. Can you add Craig's List to your search capabilities? There are a ton of kites for sale on Craig's List.

Hi,
Cool idea.
You will have to run a validation script weekly as the 2nd one I viewed was no longer online.
Regards Lee

Thanks for the feedback! It means a lot, I've spent lots of time coding it all and im really glad to know its useful.
@Ayahuasca
Adding craigslist is a great idea! I was thinking maybe making it separate from the other results and also making an option to sort by location.
@Anabatic_co_nz A
A validator is definitely needed, so far I've just been deleting older dates but that leaves out a bunch of listings that are already sold.
Btw. All the listings can be sorted and filtered out by clicking on the values for size or model etc... For example, if you want to only see 10m kites, then click on "10m" and it will filter by that. Its confusing at first but I feel like the user interface is much more streamlined that way.

I also like how you can sort each column by price, kite, year, size, etc. Great job on this site. I have already referred it along to quite a few friends.

Cool !
I love kitehound ! Props for doing something really useful for our community !
I would also encourage you to add kiteboards on to the search feature - that would be awesome !
