Ugly: agreed amongst the worst look around
Nothing new: well it does have a few evolutions over the XR2 which was already a fairly good kite. Rebels, ozones, SBs, xbows, wainmans, all saw very little changes in the last couple of years (2013 was the year When everything changed). Everybody seems to have reached the optimum design they were looking for.
Price: it is a pricey sport but my 15m ends up being a few bucks cheaper than my Switchblade 2013 12m. Switchkites are much cheaper, I agree.

What they changed, I like. Shorter bridles, faster turning, more responsive feel.
I have been flying the Core GT series but I think the XR3 will suit my freeride style better than the new Core GT3.
