Has anyone added a stopper bar to their Uni Control Bar?

If so, where did you get it and how did you do it?

Thanks for the help!

On my uni control bar (came with the Blade Trigger 2013), out of the box the trim line was way too short. Like I think I could trim it about 2" total. So I ended up moving the cleat assembly (as shown in the video above) to get more length in the rope that you use to trim the kite.

Is that a reasonable thing to do? It seems to fly fine, and I can adjust the trim, though I'm still never quite sure if I've over-adjusted or under-adjusted the trim. (though that's an entirely different issue...)

ya, that is why it is adjustable.

if, for example if you have shorter arm reach, then you you will have less sheeting "throw" available at a comfortable range. (you can't let the bar out as far as easily as someone with longer arms ((who can't pull it in as far as comfortably, and probably prefers a larger harness loop/longer QR assembly)). anyway, so you would move the cleat down towards yourself, eliminating useless sheeting throw that you can't comfortably use, and swapping it for more "trim" adjustment" (which is also now easier for you to reach).

that is all that is going on there.

Oh, so you only get either lots of sheeting throw, or lots of trim adjustment--you can't have both...?

Is that how all systems work?

can somebody with uni bar explain to me how do you chage the safety (the gray one that you connect lish to) line. I always get stucked at the little swivel hole.

Edit: solved the problem

PM sent with instructions on how to get it working for you. Let me know if everything is smooth now.

Thanks

Will the Uni Control Bar work on a Cabrinha Switchblade?

It should work just fine, unless it is a first generation switchblade that requires pulleys on the bar. What year is your switchblade?
