Wainman Passport VS Naish Skater

Postby joandani » Mon Jun 17, 2013 8:36 am

Hi everyone, I need your help to decide which one I have to buy.

I have tested the wainman passport 2012 (yellow and blue, think its 5.11) and was perfect for what i was searching, a surkite strapless board for shitty mediterranean waves and light wind, and it has the plus that I can surf the board very good without the kite. Before testing it, i was decided with the naish skater 5.9 but i couldnt tested it, and i would know if someone tested both to explain differences.

And last question, i love grafics of wainman passport 2011, any differences or upgrades in 2012(yellow and blue) except grafics? Thnks!

There are lots of reviews of the Naish Skater if you use the search function.

Never heard of the Waiman Passport.

Haven't tried the wainman, but if your into strapless, the 013 Skater is really good..

Passport planes off Fast. I'm 245 Pies and I liked the Passport. Never rode the Naish.

To me, the Wood/Bamboo boards are Stiff in Chop. Rough ride.

My 4 cents!

I finally take the wainman passport 5.11, but i think i would love both!

I have only make this choise cause with the wainman i will also be able to do surf without the kite here in the mediterranean, and because the wainman has more volum to go with less wind with the 18 dyno, I am 1.73m and 62Kg, I think with 9-11 knots I will be going with the wainman...

If someday I try both, i will post my opinions. Thnks for all :)
