Yes, strapless only, but the videos I've seen of the Nugget were of people riding strapless.
As a lightwind directional kiteboard, strapless would be what I want anyway.
My local crew all ride strapless, when it is a lightwind surfboard.
This thing cost me a bit over a third of the Nugget price.
And it is 5' 4" which is a size that makes more sense to me.
But until I ride it, it's all speculation.
Hoping for some wind this week.

Very interested to hear the results! I have on in the cart ready to hit "checkout" :D

How did you get it in green? All I see online is the red and white graphics which were (I'm guessing) drawn by someone on meth...

I hear ya! I couldn't wait. Mine will be here soon but it'll probably be a week or two before I get enough wind to compare it to other boards. Will let you know...

I think it was a 2012 and you can call SS and see if they still have any.

The green SP is a 2012, and they're on the Slingshot website wakeboard sale section, for less money than this years.
Call Dave Gutierrez at Slingshot and he will get you taken care of.
Took it out yesterday in very light wind.
Unfortunately, I lost a valve cover on my 17M, so had to take the too small 11M kite in very light winds.
The 5' 4" SP planes very early, is very stable but feels nice and short, meaning that is easy to move around because it is only 5' 4".
To me it feels like it planes earlier than a "normal" 6 foot surfboard.
I like what I felt so far, for sure.
But did not get much time on it in the very light winds.
The fact that I got up and planing and wend upwind with what little power I had, tells me everything I need to know about it!
That's all I've got so far.

Rode the SP for the first time today and LOVED IT!!
Just extremely playful and stable. Very easy to walk all around the pads on the thing to jibe or adjust your footing.

I didn't find it to be a better lightwind board than anything else (fins add drag). I rode it in sound with wind driven small waves and chop. The board just ate up the chop and made the small waves a total playground.

I found it tracked almost too well, so I took the rear/center fins off to loosen up the back end and found it much more playful. I can't see me ever putting them back on. It's as stable as it needs to be but throwing the back end around is a lot more fun.

Rode it in pretty much all conditions...and have to say, it handled it all. I was surprised that when I was very lit on my kite, I could still ride the SP in complete control, and didn't have to run to the twin tip. I also have the reform skim and I'll get blown off that board at the top end of my kite, as you'd expect with a skim.

Anyway, first day on it, first report. Looking forward to getting it out in the ocean.

Great info on this board. I just bought a demo board and stock board from slingshot, so if anyone happens to be in the Madison, WI. area or on Lake Michigan and wants to take a spin, let me know.

Looks like a really fun board.
