Hi all,
I'm looking for a GPS on a wristband that also shows time in large digits for races. Something attachable to the bar could make the job.
Any recommendations?
I've read past posts about the gt-31, 310xt, and the prostart speedpuck(no timing), but all these posts are 2012 and older. Anything new for 2013? What are the pros using with their race boards?
Thanks!

i just bought the suunto ambit on ebay for about 300. looks pretty bombproof and seems to fit the bill for this.

most racers are using something similar to this
http://optimumtime.co.uk/Sailing_Watche ... /OS315.php
but it has no gps.
the suunto ambit have an app you can install for race timer.

i dont like getting technical with stuff. i just wanted something to track my speed when riding and the ambit will get me close enough. when i do finally get around to entering a race, it has an app for the timer. went out walking/running and there is a delay of about 1-2 secs in regards to tracking acceleration. not the most accurate thing but i am just looking to use this for training purposes as i dont have anybody to race around with.
the watch is built really well.

I have the Garmin 310XT. It has a large stopwatch face for time keeping and stop start time but not so good with just the time of day. GPS is very good. The watch colour is orange and chunky. Not so sleek and modern like the Suunto Ambit2. I am thinking on updating.
