I don't have to worry about the my Real parts breaking , but this is whatprelives wrote: ...
My lead leg foot came loose, but rear leg foot stayed in strap. Board twisted causing spiral fracture of the femur, then i fell over from the board stopping quickly while at speed and femur snapped completely.
..
happens to me a LOT. It's when the board Stops where the prosthetic gets ripped
off my body. Even with the leash i use on the leg, the fake foot stays locked in
as i drag the board and leg parts behind me.
On those strong wind days, i have to set the kite on the side of the wind and fully
depower it to get the board back on.
SO :
A) Would it be Better to just have Both feet locked in All the time, like the guys that
ride with wake-board boots ?
B) or find a way to release the foot strap with a cord ?
C) maybe "step-in snow-board" bindings that release on impact ?
NO way will i go in ocean waves, until i figure this one out.
I Really miss surfing down waves ; did that for 20 years in San Diego,
when i owned real legs, and would enjoy trying it with a kite and surfboard !!
