And it is not a number such as 460 or 470. It tells you how long that line should be relative to other components of the bar. It's not a fixed number.
Anyway, maybe I'm being to simple. Call the factory to make sure they didn't round 469.67896543 to 470 because it could throw the bar completely out of wack. That's sarcasm by the way.
Call North and see what they say.
Krazedkiter wrote:My kite lines say 22 meters on the tag. That exact measurement walked out the door after 2 sessions of kiting. Same as my 3 meter extensions. I tune my kites now to measurements relative to each other. Such as length of front lines relative to steering lines. My only little tidbit of info was that sometimes those numbers become irrelevant and to maybe consider that into the equation. More so after 2 years. I doubt anything on your kite or bar that is not rigid is the same length as 2 years ago.
Is Pi 3.14 or 3.14159265359..........sarcasm.
In case you haven't noticed, each of my post did try to assist you. Regardless if you appreciated the dry humor or not. Reading the manual, it talks about how the section of the 5th element line shoud be equal length to the flying lines. That was your original question. 5th line length. Unless I'm looking at the wrong 5th line? Is there more than one 5th line? So with that bit from the manual, the tag could say 460 or 470 but would that number matter if they are telling you that the 5th line should be equal to length of an ever changing component such as flying lines that stretch.
Am I looking at the wrong line you are talking about in section 6.1.3 of the 2012 trust bar manual? Anyway, if I'm just annoying you then I will move on and put a shrimp on the Barbie.

Where did they rip...at the zipper? There is a week point, the lower zipper seam (the lower one when opening the zipper).
Measured the new one: 4,60 !!!
