I think it was Tuesday - purrfect wind, gear was rigged and trimmed just right, nice rolly waves - everything just in tune, when I had go out a bit further for my next set and suddenly a few dolphins started playing with me. Softly gliding and breathing next to my board I almost could have touched their fins. I was just too struck. Honestly I had wet eyes after that - darn surf spray :D

peace

Had my first session back home after a nice warm US spot. Damn was it good to be out on the water. First helped out a friend who had some issues with his 9m kite. (turned out he shortened the Steering lines waaaay to far) then tested his kite to be sure no lines where stretched and after i and specially him felt good about it. He wrote all day long with a smile from ear to ear.

Seeing friends having fun is Always a good stoke.

Myself i took my old trusty 12m. Was about 25 knots with gusts towards 30 but i had a blast. Nice long hangtime jumps. And a small sandbank making the water flat. gotta love it.

Awesome topic btw.

Had a blast in OBX. what a place to kite.
Ok having a bedroom overlooking one of the kitespots isnt to bad either.

Only my fitness trainer was overdoing it a "bit".

Had quite possibly the best day on the water last Saturday - 20C and 35-45 knot winds.

I bought a 7m Ozone c4 about 3 weeks ago and have used it 4 times already.

Last Saturday I got up at 5:30am, went to the beach and got out for about an hour in 30knot winds. Went home, picked up the missus and spent the day with her and her friend waiting for the tide to retreat.

3:30pm, went back out at the sandbar, epicly windy and finally tuned into megaloops, jumping as high as I possibly could and hucking the loop. Loads of mates were around, good friends, the people I hang out with every week, BBQ with and get drunk with. All out, everyone trying loops and other stupid stuff. 4 hours boosting followed by a curry with said friends and girl friends and a few (too many) beers

Went out Sunday lit on my 9m, and it was boring in comparison.

Monday morning, I could barely walk.

I literally have never felt so confident on a kite, strange that it took 40+ knots to get 'that' feeling.

Great to feel in control.

Not to say there were not a few massive crashes ;)

I went to La Ventanna Mexico for the first time in Mid January for 10 days and kited 8 days in La Ventana. 6 days on my 11m and 2 days on my 9m. Then We went down to Los Barilles and kited the 9th day on my 11m and i weigh 220lbs. The 10th day was a day of rest in Cabo.

I'm still stoked about that trip!
