Just taking a smaller company like Airush as an example...( could have used another)
Wave....................Razor...................Lithium..................Varial X..................Varial Race
And Ozone,
REO......................C4.......................Catalyst...........................................................Edge
Which one is missing ? .......
Thoughts and suggestions for another kite that could fill this spot from another brand for main kite size (9m to 11m)?
Reason? So utterly stoked with the new zephyr and this aspect agrees with me. Made me consider what an incredible gap there is for us freeriders who crave some aspect. You either have the punchy grunt of the new cat or a full blown race kite, now with race bridles making it even more efficient!

Of course, no doubting that. But there is a big gap in aspect for freeriders between the cat and the edge. The zephyr sits somewhere in between and I seem to love this aspect. Hence you got an beginner to intermediate all rounder then a full on race kite. Where's the middle ground?

One of my mates mentioned the Naish boxer of all kites. Funny when you look at its profile looks hell like a smaller zephyr hey.

I just picked the airush line randomly and may e because I have flown all those kites before.
The point I hope to make is ozone have moved the cat closer to the C4 and there is a huge aspect and performance via aspect between the new cat and the edge.
I have said this for a while now they could do with a zephyr type aspect and design in smaller sizes for those that love aspect but want some of the static grunt the zephyr offers. It's a cat or a full blown race kite! Which is an awesome design IMO but .....

The zephyr would be great in mid to big sizing. I would be tempted by a 13m zephyr for sure
