Yeh I have been through all I can read on the trigger. Can't get on one here in WA, no distributor the Aussie distributor has not got back to me yet, which is always a worry!
Seems some really like it, and some riders from the earlier models don't! But aspect is something that some crew aren't looking for. Me, aspect equals performance, but that's just me. Hence why I ride edges.
Some things about the trigger I don't like, still the same shitty small inflate valve, ozone have got that spot on. Rope depower, not a fan. Spent way too many hours replacing bloody north depower ropes, that nearly sent me insane. Also related to the inflate valve, as it has a much thinner leading edge it seems you ned to put a fair bit of psi into it, which means produce a kite with a wide inflate valve!!
Yeh the aspect between the evo and the trigger is closer than I though hey. So I suppose it comes down now to canopy profile, bridal design and the overall feel it produces.
Yoda can you get on a trigger as well? Now that would be a very useful comparison. Over here only the evo possible unless I track down a 2013 trigger user, but winds too fickle down here right now.
Be great if ya could man.
