ozone megatron 2008 releases too easily

Postby merl » Sun Jun 30, 2013 10:41 am

What's the recommended way to prevent the original megatron quick release from firing too easily? Tape? Stronger elastic?

Also, I don't have a stopper on the leashed line is there a good trick for putting a stopper on the line?

Cheers

Slingshot sells one stopper ball i added to a line in 2008. They (Ozone) did add beefed up elastic in later years. I would connect suicide if mine was releasing.

Thanks Andrew. I agree with connecting suicide, but this was for a relative beginner who was releasing accidentally while fumbling to get into the straps.

If its worn and sloppy perhaps invest in a new chicken loop.
