After 14 years of kiteboarding I certainly remember my sessions with 40+ knots wind in big waves and with throwing triple forward rotations in big air.
But some of my very best days for sure have been in light winds on glassy smooth water ripping along on a foil board or race board. Anybody who hasn't experienced the pleasures of light wind riding is missing out on one of the best ways to enjoy our sport.. Give it a try with good equipment and you will love it. (if you just try to use a normal twin tip then I agree it can be boring).
