Late Freestyle action

The second day of the MINI Kitesurf Tour Europe started off with Course Racing.

After the Skippersmeeting we started with the Course Racing. The wind was a bit lighter than the day before.

In total we did four Races. Maks Zakowski from Poland was fighting for the lead at the mens fleet against the French Riders Maxime Nocher, Julien Kerneur, Olivier Dansin and his compatriot Blazej Ozog. The women fleet was the same as the day one - Katja Roose from the Netherlands won all Races, followed by Christine Bönniger (GER) and Aga Grymska from Poland.

The Freestylers were all day long on Standby to start the competition as soon as the wind picked up.

At around 6 pm the wind was reasonable to start Freestyle. We run six heats until the wind dropped again. Finally all Riders were released for the day.

In the evening there was the official Kitesurf Cup Sylt Riders Party. Today Skippers meeting was at 11 am - at the moment there is not enough wind to start Course Racing.

Tonight after the Riders Dinner there will be a Live Band at the stage, followed by the Poker-Night at the Casino "Sylter Spielbank". 14 Riders will get the chance to play against 2 visitors from the island.

The sun is out and some action will start on the beach soon.

Check out the pics and the video of day 2.
