Hi kite-buddies!
Good news to all of us.
Finally there is a parking lot right at the beach of one of the world's best kitesurfing spots in northern Cėarà. It can be easily accessed by beach or, at high tide directly via back-road and offers sufficient place even for the biggest cars.
Next to it there is a small cozy Barraca which offers plenty of sun and wind protection. At certain times it is equiped with hammocks.
Any kitesurfer on his way from cumbuco to Jeri is welcome to stop by and enjoy.

Back in 2011 on the way to Jeri we past there. Didn't know there was a kite scene at Baleia. It seemed like a quiet little town.

You are right, the town is still extremely small and quiet. But kitesurfing is awesome.

Baleia, a small but extremly cozy beachtown in northern Ceara got this year even more valuable to the kitesurfing comunity.!

Right with the start of the windy season there is now the one and only free NIGHT kitesurfing in Ceara.
One of the local kitesurf freaks has volounteered to install a lighting system which stays on all night!

As in previous years, there is huge fenced in parking lot right at the beach and a well equipped barraca with fresh water to anyone's disposal

Please don't forget to stop by for a free drink or beer on your downwinder from Cumbuco to Jeri!

Our poor neighbour says up till now he uses only 15 watt light bulbs, but as soon as more and more kitesurfers demand night kitesurfing he could easily install high power light bulbs.
Hope to cu guys soon.
