According to the FS website the low end of a 6M Cronix is 18 knots and the low end of an 8M Cronix is 16 knots. Anyone able to comment on how good the pull really is at those speeds? I'm sure the kite will fly in those winds, but can you really ride with it? Ted, maybe you know?

At the Flysurfer Chat, we answered some questions also about the Cronix.
If you still have questions, please ask them there and we will answer them as good as possible the next days.

Was the lack of lift compared to the best TS due to the rider level? It seems the rider was really taking that kite way past 12 before they left the water. Or does it have a real c type lift profile meaning one has to whip it all the way across the window?

That was my impression as well. Seemed like more of a timing issue than a jumping issue.

In that specific scene the cronix-rider probably hits a lull. The statement is more due to an hour or so of kiting in the same spot. (And well, the TS-rider has an extra skill-level)
