I think the shoulder will be ok for some time. If he dislocated the should 3 times, I think then it will be over.
So, let's hope it won't happen again...fingers crossed!

Bummer! Shoulder injuries/dislocations are not the end of a kiters career. I had my shoulder rebuilt after a complete dislocation, fracturing the top of the humerus and detaching muscle and tendon. After 12 months of therapy and now 10 years post surgery it is better than it was before. Really, no kidding.
I certainly wouldn't claim to be anywhere near the riding level of Yuri but dislocations and loose sockets are a relatively easy repair these days.
Good luck and speedy recovery Yuri.

He needs to see a top specialist, get any remedial work required done, and then do the rehab religiously. If not...he'll have multiple dislocations and that won't be fun at all. Been there...got the t-shirt (ice hockey, football, and chasing the ex round the bedroom). The medics are a LOT better now....still experimental in my day. I can't see him doing handle passes in the near future. Maybe you can get him to do some strictly hooked features for you Toby...

Did Andy have a dislocated shoulder? I think some part ripped, and that is really bad.
Just hoping Youri will be back, he is a great guy, awesome ripper and already had too much shit with his knees.
And that's why we need Airstyle...it gives the kids another chance to keep living their dream!
