For comfort and hold you cant beat Ronix. Expensive to try and find clearouts and they do breakdown rather quick, but you can still ride em crushed for years. Recently went economy on a pair of boots and it was a waste. Back in old beat boots until I find a pair of the same for cheap.

They are super light and the intuition liner cant be beat for fit.

Liquid Force Vantage CT. The velcro adjustment straps work really well.

I bought mine in evo.com (not sure where ur at). I tried the districts first, bought them, went out for a few times and I didn't like them they were too soft, so thankfully they literately starting falling apart after the few times, liner was messed up, stitching started to get undone, etc... so I called EVO.com and they were awesome to deal with warranty, the sent me a new pair, but I upgraded the order to the 2012 KAIs, and I absolutely love them, nice and rigid, I feel as I have more control, feels more direct, IMO. I'm a noob to boots, not sure of that's the case, but feels that way. One of the inside liners is already messing up on my KAIs, about an 3 inches up from the heal, but honestly not sure if its a Ronix quality thing or the way I've been putting them on.

I've got a hook up with LF products, so I'm gona try the vantage next time, or whatever their most rigid boot is.

I tried some cheapy LF ones, and slingshot, can't remember either model, but after trying the Ronix are by far the most comfortable though. IMO.
