Firewire Hellfire kitesurf board stolen en Baja Sun 4th Aug

Postby chirojoseph » Wed Aug 07, 2013 2:51 pm

REWARD, Recompensa

Board stolen in Santa Rosalia Baja California Sur (port town on the Sea of Cortez side where the ferry leaves for the mainland town of Guaymas)

The rat bastards will probably try to sell it to surfers...but any decent surfer will see the pads with SCREW holes in them (NSI pads) and realize that the board is really for KITING and truthfully its difficult to paddle it into waves, although of course it can be done by a strong surfer in good swell.

The board has Black and white camo NSI pads, is in a standard surfboard bag with one reflective surface, and inside was also a full wetsuit for 6ft man, a Neil Pride Life jacket, and some lycra bike shorts and pair of brown Mystic board shorts.

Im offering reward, i LOVED that board and had JUST finished a sick 8 day trip in nice Pacific swell with side-off winds.

Jason...

what can I say? 2 seconds of descuido amidst months and months of caring for that board as if it was a favorite puppy of million dollar pedigree....and in those 2 seconds I got screwed. I mean, the damn jeep was never even out of site! I have NO IDEA how they slipped it out, all the boards were strapped TIGHT to the roof but since mine was "under the pile" somehow someone worked it free, from the street side (we were on the "motor side" of the vehicle eating) and nobody on the busy street said anything or gave them fear they would be caught...??

I dont know, its a fucking mystery man. And of all the junk boards that were on that truck it had to be my Firewire that they ended up with...and the only people they are going to be able to sell it to will be SURFERS..not kiters.

Well, maybe theres some good Karma floating around out there and Someday Ill get an email from a guardian angel....meanwhile, its summer doldrums here anyway so I have some time that it wont be KILLING me every day theres wind and waves that its gone...

ride on...
