I'm loving my 2013 9&11 meter edges and now it's all I want to fly. Who flys a 7 edge? Looking for some feedback before I buy one. I'd only be taking out the 7 in 28 plus knots when the 9 starts getting slow. Is this kite still a beautiful wing in its small sizes? Any backstall at all when sheeting in for air?
Would love to hear your impressions.

I have the 2013 9M and 11M Ozone Edge and that's my entire quiver. I've flown my 9M up to 38 kts with no issues. I won't go smaller than a 9M so I would say stay with what you have unless you are going to be getting a lot of 30+ kt winds.

Hi,
I have the 2012 11,9 and 7. I use the 7 from 30 to 40+ knots (70 kg). I have tried the 2013 but barely feel any difference. The 7 is as good as the others, the lift is better than the 9 but the hangtime a bit less. I don't have any backstall or fluttering issues (you need to pump it hard just like the 9 and 11).
Have a look at this video and see what the thing is capable of

The edge 7 meter Feels like a mini truck on steroids
.
I tried the kite in 30knots (70kg) and its was super fun huge airtime fast enough.
But I think that for your weight you need 6m

I wasn't aware ozone had a 6 m edge?? I'm comfortable in 35 knots on a 7m rebel and 20m lines but the rebel pre 2013 has backstall issues in that size. I get dropped unless I'm super powered. I'll grab a 7 edge soon.
Thanks for the feedback. Couldn't find much on the net for this size.
