I happen to have my mental state on film when I reached my limit.

I did a 24hr on the landoard in 25-40 knots. It was truly insane and the silliest thing I have ever done. But I discovered my limit.

skip to 5.55 on the vid to see how stuffed I am.

If I'm well rested and fed, I can stay out for hours. But one time I was having a fantastic day and was riding for about 3 hours straight. When I came back to the beach and got off my board my legs were like jelly! I was actually concerned I wouldn't be able to walk to a spot to land my kite. After that I realized it's good to take breaks now and again.

Agree fully - no matter HOW good it is out there, we should probably all take more rests than we do :o

As we will become much more sharp and balanced :D , even with a few short rests, instead of none :(

Makes a huge difference - small rests, not too long either, so your body dont "cool down" too much (not good), but sufficient for your muscles and balance to stay sharp and focused.

I guess I am the only one who kites until the wind stops blowing or my arms fall off. Which ever comes first.
