Haha all these people that are in such a hurry to get the new stuff alot of times are just finishing up the r and d for kite companies simple. I am never in a hurry to get 2014 when it is only August 2013. So funny where I live usually the guy with the newest stuff cant even kite or is a sponosred pro who doesnt pay. I stay away from equipment in the first production run so they can work out any kinks if there are any, I am not saying there is always I just live in Brazil and too hard to get stuff swapped out if there is a problem. To each his own these are just my thoughts. Happy kiting

No tease here. We are a Cabrinha dealer and this is what they told us. I kinda wish that hadn't actually...
The bar wasn't up to QC. Lines were wearing prematurely "where they left the bar". I never did get time to ask what lines where exactly. The bars that are up to snuff are arriving in Miami sometime this week (if customs doesn't slow it down) and then dealers will have bars a few days after that.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
And yeah, I've been waiting for that damn Ozone bar for 3 years also.

The Canrinha dealers on here don't even make sense what you are saying. What is the issue with the bar? I'm damn sure not gonna' pay the fuckdiculous amount of money for a new kite and bar until I know what the issue is and that it has been solved. Being aloof about it only makes it appear that it is a bigger issue than it probably is. Come clean and state what the issue is and what's being done to correct it.

There is no problem with the Cabrinha bar that is shipping now.
There was a minor issue with the very first bars shipped to dealers these were for dealers demo stock, team and opinion riders. They have all been replaced at no charge by Cabrinha.
The Ozone push away chicken loop/bar is available for dealers to order now. Dealers will have stock in about 2 weeks from now. We've been involved in the testing and durability/QC of this new chicken loop it is an excellent design and well worth the wait (but there was nothing functionally unsafe or wrong with the old one!!! Literally thousands in use over the last few years, no known safety or function issues)

One thing I noticed - with the added mass at the bar ends, when you spin the bar after a rotation it spins around further than my 2011 bars do

This was the problem, I also don't know exacty what was the problem. But it was a minor issue and not safety related.
