I have a zipper in a bag that accumulated salt and is stuck. Any new novelties for releasing it?

Get an old tooth brush put some washing detergent on it and scrub the zipper bit,

Just did this last night. Soak w 10W40, stick a very small screw driver in the hole that holds the zipper finger tab and then use it as a new handle and work it back and forth.

Shoot, time to go check my zippers, they always freeze up in the summer (lack of use)
When will they make the slider bodies out of hard plastic? Seems like every kite bag I've ever had possessed aluminum sliders and they all freeze up sooner or later. What a pain...wd40 seems to do the job, but the sliders get corroded and seem to dissolve into aluminum oxide over time.

Take a jellyfish and rub it strong against the zipper
But seriously, soak it in hot water and use also a toothbrush.
Be careful not to brake the handle of the zipper so use a screw driver or string like suggested.

Had this issue a few days ago. While vinegar took all the visible corrosion off the zipper it did not touch the inside of the zipper. I'm on to WD40 now...
