Hey, anybody been to Taiwan? What kite sizes should I bring and which wetsuite will be the best??
Are there any groups on FB where people exchange their sessions and stuff like that? I will be staying in Taipei but on the weekends I'd love to explore the kite-scene, but without a car it is gonna be a little tricky I guess :/
cheers M

If you are coming in the next month and staying for a few months, you should bring kites in between 7-12 square meter.
You do not need wet suit in Sep. You can use a shorty in Oct and Nov. After Dec. a full wet suit is necessary.
People who live in Taipeikites at different spots depending on wind direction. I live in Penghu, 1 hour flight away from Taipei. It is always windy here after Oct.

Didn't know you were that close!
(That explains why you were talking about kiting over to 石垣島 and 与那国
)
Our winds are basically like your winds.
