Is there anybody familiar with Thai kitesurfing spots?
I was wondering where the wind is better in Thailand in September/begin of October?
Phuket Nai Yang Beach
or
Rayong - Laem Son
According to windguru's last years data, it seems that it is Phuket ?
Thanks for your input.

The wind in Phuket isn't too reliable but it's a nicer place to be than Rayong.

Hello
what are the chances for wind(<15 k) at september?how much?(knots)
i'm going to be at:phangan, samui, phi phi..
i made some research & understand that the chances for good wind(<15 k) are not so good..
any recommendation?
bring the full gear anyway?(my biggest kite - 9 m ..)
i understand that at phangan, samui i can rent gear(kba),so maybe it's worth to bring just the kite+harnnes & rent board(or anyway 9 m will be not enough)?
thanks for any help!

Rayong is not the best city to hang out when theres no wind, Phuket is much better. However the wind is unreliable at this time of year in both spots, dont believe windguru. Board and kit rental is available but its a little pricey understandably. I hope you not going there especially to kite!

The best and the most crowded spot is Hua Hin. Wind is good between November-May. Nice, long and clean beach. No boats or jet skis. IMO, best time is feb-apr..
