I will be staying in Marseille for two weeks in early September and I am bringing my gear. Can anyone recommend some spots that are not too crowded with tourists in the area? I will have a car so I can drive. What about the beaches between north Marseille and the Camargue?

You better post to " flysurf.com " to get answers . Shortly you have 2 main Spots : Almanarre at side Hyerres and Saint Cyr les Lecques and not very far from Marseilles : Beauduc the best Spot in France.
