You need to find the sweet spot as far as bar position is concerned. usually its about halfway. getting flapping wing tips means you are depowering to much. Speeds like to be parked more that worked.

My advice. downloop to start get downing fast, park the kite, find the sweet spot and feather the bar, Do little micro signs up and down.you don't want the kite pointing upwards. keep it side on in the parked position moving the kite up and down a very feet at a time.

You need to concentrate on board speed. retaining as much as possible. That's how it the speed will generate power. loose your board speed and loose you power.

The OEM 6m extensions are important, so you get a proper long power stroke and enough time to turn the kite - it's a looooooooooooong kite up there!

Don't forget the Speed series also has Triple Depower - you sheet out, you reduce the angle of attack AND the amount of projected area AND alter the camber of the kite. On the beach, sheet in and trim the kite until it doesn't back-stall. (If you have to do that at all with the 21, your lines are out of tune.) Now you're good to go - you'll have pretty much full power with the bar a most of the way to the QR. Speeds like a light touch on the bar - no big movements, keep them steady and smooth.

Tip tucking - if you sheet out and turn, that'll happen. See above re. Triple Depower. Gentle sines, long strokes, park as soon as you can and build board and kite speed.

For me, in light wind, a down stroke, then up and park is enough to get me cruising.

Hi!
I ride a 19m2, which should be very similar.
Like Kamikuza said, when you get the feeling how much to sheet in/out, you down stroke, get it up, park it. Than you do the rest with your board. Of course, it is hard to get the initial start/speed in light wind with luls, droping close to 0.
Don't sheet in too much (or should I say don't sheet in at all) when trying to turn the kite up. Just pull on one side of the bar, in ultra light wind, pull on the steering line for the kite to turn in one spot and shoot out thoward the zenith, when overhead, redirect it to a down stroke. Of course you have to work (get the timing right) with your harness (front lines) as well.

If you pull to much on the bar for turning, the kite will back stall thowards the power zone and when you release the bar, the kite pulls you "hard" downwind, but you probably already know this.

Thanks,
Do NOT sell your machine until Ya at-least get someone to tune it
out for you ; surely there's Someone willing to do that within a 3-hr
drive of Ya ??

Now My question :

Does anyone know the Span of the Flysurfer Speed 3 21m when it's
laid-out, flat on the ground ?

Also, how many cells does it have ?

Thanks : Bille

I have done a few sessions on the Speed3 21M Deluxe, here are my initial impressions:
The Speed 3 will fly when the LEI's will fall off the sky.
The Speed 3 is much slower than the Ozone Edge 17 in turning.
Water relaunch on the Speed 3 is as easy as LEI's
The Speed 3 will pull harder than the Ozone17 once there is apparent wind.
The speed 3 seem to have less power to get going and during transition, but that may be due to my inexperience on the Speed 3.

Mahalo for all the help from the forum.

Yes.
Yes.
Mostly.
Yes.
Yes. See above.

Let the kite fly in turns - direct it then sheet out a touch. I find it to pull harder in transitions than LEIs.
Getting going . . . if a single dive is not enough, loop it. That usually means it's just too light for me to ride though. Maybe if I had a raceboard . . .
