Fuel 2014

Postby elmorfin » Sat Sep 14, 2013 1:03 am

After watching the surf expo video on the new slingshot gear (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n0MM-DmZ8M#t=137) They mention some changes in the FUEL for 2014. They say it has some similarity to the 07 and 08 models. With more wind range.
Anyone knows o remembers what benefits or how those fuels performed?

If I recall, 06 through 08 fuels flew a little more forward and possibly turned quicker, with the focus on the megaloop.
the 09 brought a little more depower via the longer wingtips that also enabled easy launch, but sat back in the window a bit.
Seems the 2014 may be a bit more forward flying, which is good for range and useability in my opinion, presumably still with extra LE attachments for wakestylers...

haha thats funny,

i just flew an '07 13m some guy pulled out at the beach the other day (he'll be taking a lesson and getting new gear)

such a beast, the steering resistance is so ridiculously heavier than on normal feeling kites. its like a massive workout turning that thing hard.
