sure wear boots land hot be more powered but nothing wrong switching to straps to learn a trick, and going back to boots after you master it to throw down in front of the camera.

There's no rule I know of you have to be hard core every day.

Why would you ever do that? Surely buying bindings and then going back to straps to learn a trick would be like buying running shoes for a marathon and then wearing flip flops whilst training??

I find it strange that people use straps at all except in the waves. Bar convienience of getting in/out and slight upwind advantage i see no other advantage to straps, had to use them for the first time ever last year when my bindings broke whilst away on holiday and they're horrible. Feet coming out, one foot landings, landing on board, losing board, cut feet...... none of that shit with bindings!

I think straps are dangerous if you land with one foot off.
Boots will cause you harder crashes but not so many knees/ankle injuries.

I only rode straps while learning and since I got upwind I swiched to boots (I've been wakeboarding for ages). Now I can't even put a strap board on my feet without looking like a complete beginner.

Don't hit sliders with straps, please don't. :thumb:

Hey, what's the Scorpion position ?

The only one I could find on Google is the one from the Kama Sutra (http://couple.notrefamille.com/amour-sexo/kamasutra/le-scorpion-position-9229.html , which I doubt is what you're talking about :D

Here is a game of scorpion. Loser has to do a scorpion. It is a fine example of a bad crash at the cable.
