Like the look of this from Herve Boure, been out a year or so now.

anyone ridden in/got good feedback on it?

Phil (and others as well), how is the weight of the board? Is it really light? The website says around 3kg, but you never know...

Can you compare it to other boards like the Firewire Vanguard weight wise and also waveriding wise, please? thanks!

My Lafayette 5'10 weight 3,6kg with pads and fins

For me the Vanguard is in a class of its own. Freaking fast in the wave but extremely agile and maneuvrable at the same time.
I am looking forward to adding a Vanguard in my quiver for the small conditions, keeping the Lafayette for the upper range in wind and waves.
By the way, weigth wise we will know only when the Vanguard will show up in a kite version. :cool2:

what's the HB like in chop and is it nice and flexible?

Also been keen to see that vanguard come out in kite version, what size have you used? and what's your weight/

The HB is very comfortable in chop, thanks to the construction providing the right amount of flex, coupled with a single concave bottom shape.
