Vegas in not an option. Too expensive for what you re getting.

Checked the prime yesterday and I think it's not my kite. Hopefully I'm testing the Mist this weekend.

Thx

Chaos works well in the surf-- just have to keep 'em flying. Had the switchblades before 2013, and I prefer the chaos in the surf over those. Good luck.

I have agree with dyyylan on the Envy's. They 2014's are really refined and I feel like it has more slack than my Fuel does. Amazing kite in the waves also.

No such thing as a 'wave kite.'

All kites will Hindenburg when taking any kind of exciting drop down the face - unless your kiting offshore winds.

the envy pulls very, very hard. It`s like and old evo with less bar pressure.
In my opinion pull too much to do unhooked freestyle is more a freeride kite.
I used to fly a park 2011 quiver that might be corect for wakestyle and it could be good in the waves.
that kite are so smooth and for me was friendy to unhook. i haven't tried 2012,13,14 so i have nothing to say.

I am also going to say the Varial X but also the RPM. I have a 12m and 10m Varial X coming from RPMs. Although I like to use my Lithiums in the waves, the VX works great also. It is a little bit higher aspect then most of the others which makes it a boosting machine but also unhooks extremely well and great upwind. It also sits well in the pocket for down the line riding but is quick enough for those days you need to move the kite around.

Prime 2011 & 2012 were very different kites from the 2013.
2011 & 2012 got fantastic reviews and the 2013 Prime did not.
The Mist looks like a move toward a Vegas.
