+1 for Edge 19m its very stable in light air turns very direct and relatively quick even with 27M lines. I found it turns a bit quicker and more direct than 2013 Dyno 15. loads of lift pop and huge float. This is a big kite I actually enjoy jumping easy to down loop and very responsive. At 195lb I have no problems holding it in 20kn+ and the jumps over 15 knots are unreal. Kami 0 pumps with my BST pump but it does take 3min or so which is a lot less time than it took to pack up up my S3 21M
Anyway I still want to try a Naish Draft that hangtime vid is impressiveno matter what the conditions were.
for reference I rode and Edge 19 and Edge 9m today in 15 to 22 both kites worked great the 9m loops great and was fun in the swells 19 was like unlimited airtime on tap
Hey if I had 14toes I'd wear a blue tarp 7/24 no doubt

I was joshing about the number of pumps
Tried a Draft 17... hated it. Bar pressure was monster, couldn't ride one-handed cos I just couldn't hold onto it. And I wasn't riding upwind
my Flite is better.

How many pumps to fill the Edge 19?
I hand pumped 14Toeside's 19 Edge and it was as easy to do as my XR3 19 Core
Using "double action 2.0 liter pump" it took just about the same amount of time and pumps
Without going too fast with steady pace approx 1.5 minutes...90 seconds
Counting only each "full" stroke downward as "one" pump....it takes 95 pumps
If you count each up & down "full" strokes then it would total 190
Approximate total liters of air filling to 7 PSI = 190 X 2 = @ 380 liters per kite

Sounds like the 19 Edge has some updates and is better all around than the 17 Edge.
Do light racers use the 19 Edge or the 17 Edge?
When do 2014 Edges come out?

I have both 19m and 17m. The profile is different construction is totally different materials feel lighter and more "crinkely" if that's a word and though I haven't weighed both I think the 19 is at least as light or lighter. They did things like make the trailing edge reinforcement thinner, struts seem thinner and could be my imagination but LE seems thinner and wingtips fuller.Single inflation hoses are different shorter and more contoured. I actually like the 17m on 50cm bar with 25m lines flies with much more direct feel. Both are great I would say the 17 is more durable definitely turns faster on 25m lines when powered up. I'll try to post some side by side photos.

What line lenght would you recomend for the Dyno 19, for old school freeriding?
