Won't having the sailboat as a chase boat slow them down? How fast do those cruising catamarans go, 10 knots?

I purchased plans for this cat, it's called Sango , by Woods design.
It is 7.7M long and suppose to go 20+ knots ; i chose this one
because it will carry nearly 500Kg payload, and if i get rid of the
ranch-house between the pontoons, that payload would go up
a Bunch !! Plan to put a removable tent for camping instead ; otherwise
it will be a , (trailer-able) open-deck boat.

Their challenge is mother nature and their ability to maintain a good attitude with irregular sleeping patterns while living in close quarters.
