Low to mid teens is not light wind...
Yes you are right OceanAdventures. So from what I understand, I think he was using the INFINITY V3 between 10 to 16 mph since this is what low teens are . Not bad for a 305 lbs rider, especially when he had to pull the Depower Strap down all the way because of the power the INFINITY V3 was generating in this kind of conditions. Plus I don't think he was using the extra 5 meter lines extensions that comes with the kite, because then he would of been way way way over power.
So in few words I think this was a good test don't you? It goes to show you the INFINITY V3 not only works amazingly in 4 to 7 mph depending what type of boards you are using but works also well in "Low to mid teens".

Agree..low to mid teens in miles per hour...thirteen (low)...fourteen...fifteen...sixteen (mid)

Where does ....ten..eleven..twelve miles per hour ....fit in all that ? with all due respect Mr D

Depowered almost all the way ??
At 138kg !!.... in mid to upper teens mph .........really

Wasn't he fully lit on a TT 134cm ? (no idea how wide)

I rode that kite in 16-17 mph..i am 75kg..was on a strapped surfboard quad 5'7" x 18.62"
Was only depowered 1/2 way on the strap using Epic bar...and it was easily manageable

I am used to a 19 that rides in 20 mph...
...so i don't buy that overpowered stuff on a small LW kite @16-17m2
At my weight this kite could go easy to 20 mph

I don't care how low this kite sit in the window on 22m lines...a 138kg rider could handle 20 mph EZ

Was he using his own bar... and it was out of whack to be that depowered in low to mid teens (mph)
How experienced is he......does he ride as often as D. or Supa

Also from what i saw in person 4-7 mph (avg 5.5mph)......the kite flies very well on the beach

D........My job is done :cash: .... ...i just bumped your thread back to the top

This is another video of the INFINITY V3 in action in very light wind conditions.

P.S. Once again kiting in these conditions are not for every one.

You will not get me started again about your "numbers' of the wind speed you were in

I could go on an on like last year with the explanations about the type of conditions you were in

You know what would be cooler than Sup' ing......you Hydrofoiling with it

So start practicing using the hottest toy in lightwind riding

Beau video :D ...v'la bon vent ...v'la joli vent...v'la beau vent ......momi t'appele

Nice looking SUP!
How long before those are available?
8' 7" is fairly short, yes? ...meant more for surfing than flat water paddling?

Don't think I've ever seen Texas Gulf coast water as flat as that video, ....looks like a lake!

Speaking of Hydrofoils..
A buddy of mine has a Carafino Hydrofoil for sale, has only been used 5-6 times.
PM me if anybody is interested in buying it.
My buddy is more interested in Powered Paragliding than kiting these days.

Soooo, when can we buy the Infinity v3? Your website is only selling the v2.

Also, when will the new bar be ready for market?

Can't wait!

Hello guys,
The 4G INFINITY V3, RENEGADE, SCREAMERS and BARS are available as we speak. We have been selling a lot of them. The only reason we have not lunch the 4G WEB SITE yet is because I wanted to have the SCREAMER models and the BARS in. So finally we got these in few days ago and will be able to launch the new web site by the end of this week. But if you want to order any 4G product today then, please feel free to email us at: info@epickites.com or helen@epickites.com or get in touch with any of our selected Epic dealers world wide.

Once again thank you for all your help and support.
