dumb shit...
Looks like the kite had an opportunity to take him up on the first one but then had no where to go on the second so the chain took the load...

if u read vimeo comment it says less than 10 knots, on the second loop the line connecting him to the sailboat snapped. No way for the kite to loop to the top of the window at that point.
