Wow, I am impressed!
My friend Steven who suggested me to get the Dyno 2011 in 13 sqm and then fly it with 32 lines really had it right...what an amazing kite!
I never had a better session with a smaller kite like this! Still a bit faster then the 18, but still controllable. I could do many tricks also Rating 5.
Winds were about 20-25 knots, I was riding on the Barra do Cauipe lagoon.
I did pretty high jumps, with a nice float, control on the bar. Easy looping for Jesus Walks and Slides etc.
I even landed a new trick: Backroll One Foot Slide!
Now I wonder where the upper limit of the kite is...hoping for 30 knots one day to see how high and long I can jump with it.
Too bad it is a 2011 kite (like my 18). But one day the indsutry will wake up and build kites for the people who want it, need it and can afford it!

So I'm guessing that the preference of the 2011 Dyno over the new Dyno is the fact that the new Dyno is more race oriented ... ? Or is there something else about the 2011 model that makes it superior?

2012+ Dynos are more racing kites.
Dyno 2011 is luckily an awesome jump and hangtime kite! I tried sizes 13, 16 and 18 and can recommend all!

Will the D13 replace your R16? Or will you use it for 28+ kn.
Did you ever tried an smaller Rebel on 32m lines. I assume the dyno will have more hangtime and the rebel more highend (=bigger size and slower).

Not sure what I gonna do.
But so far I can use the 18 in 14-25 and 13 in 20+
Need to check the high end of the 13. If I can fly it up to 35 knots warm air I have a perfect combination and don't need the 16 anymore (no, not selling it!).
But I could fly the 13 with 25 lines and that should work up to 35 kn, but will be faster of course...
I tried the 18 with 32m lines and didn't like it.
16 I have to try.

Surely i can only underline most of what u have said. The 13 Dyno is going like hell on 32m lines. I luckily got one by a guy from Greece which has only used him a few times. Steven has setup my 32m bar for the 13 sqm Dyno and ... there is nothing comparable. Regarding the 18sqm Dyno I only use with 32m lines as well. I doubt it will work like this with shorter ones, but that's for sure it reacts slower. However if you fly it fast enough so u hear it's sound it will lift u up even u r buddies are still playing badminton
hopefully NKB will present a similar kite in the next future otherwise the will see their 2011 models for long time up in the air. Tell me when u have used the 24/25 m lines on the 13sqm whether it is worth a try

I belive the more race oriented or smaller the kite is, the longer lines it needs to work well for big airstyle. Hope I am not wrong, cause I get my new Edge 19 in about a week, will try it with 27 & 32m lines.

I would say in general the smaller the kite the longer the lines to make it turn slower, race kite or not.
Pls let us know about the Edge 19 with different line lengths!

So what line length do you use Toby as you say you don't like 32m?
