Like the speed you maintain when you land the airs, looked smooth. Nice hacks too.

I usually hate kite videos, but I liked this one for some reason. Good job.

Nice video. I liked the fast landings too.
A couple of questions.
Can you comment on your experience with the Engine Harness?
You don't appear to have any sort of adjustable depower on your bar. Did you determine the length of the fixed depower line should be set (the length as if there was adjustable depower) fully powered, fully depowered or somewhere in the middle?
I hope the 2nd question is clear.

I will try and help.
I have had an Engine harness all year. by far the best harness in 30+yrs of wind and kite surfing, transfers power better as its rigid, fits perfectly and doesn't move as its molded to your back shape. No webbing needed to tighten the belt and a wide carbon spreader plate that does not twist.
On your second question, all the Cali strapless guys Alldredge, rebstock, Ropner, etc all ride with a long depower line and generally no trim strap, if you look at the video's they also don't use leashes and depend on the extra long depower line killing most of the power or they pull the QR shackle/hoop and ditch the kite in the surf.
Look at the TDZ and LTD videos as well as Coleman's Ride-Engine site.

Thx Mike,
I have been building my own bars and sliding spreader bars, but not in this control bar configuration. You confirmed what I needed to know. I love the simplicity
