Postby Erlend M B » Mon Oct 14, 2013 6:48 pm

-Has anyone tried ever dry on the GoPro lense? Might stop fogging on the inside, and drops on the outside.

If you look at the glass plate in the video, you notice that it looks frosted on the parts where the liquid does not stick. That is because the everdry, or similar product neverwet, create this type of coating. So, putting this on your gopro lens might repel water, but on the contrary your films will be forever foggy looking...

Put it on the bottom of the board instead to go faster! Or on the lines. Or on the wet (then dry) suit!

would be great to have something that stops the fogging. I know several people who tried everything and it does not work...I am sure it also depends where you are in what weather...

This stuff looks INCREDIBLE. I wonder if it would keep swimming goggles, dive masks, gas masks etc. from fogging up ?

Or how about a specialty makeup for hookers and porn actresses ?

Again, however incredible this product is, it leaves a frosty surface on anything it is applied to, so any clear material (glass etc) will become frosted. Sure, no fog, but on the other hand no visibility.

If you look at the video, anything it is applied to is slightly grey, frosted. Bolts, shoes, glass, stone...

For me, fogging is not an issue, but waterdrops are. Shame about the frosting, guess I will try the oakly thing mentioned by jojo1
